The Saffa was born from an idea, of not just making home where the heart is, but also physically being surrounded by the presence of nostalgia. Our aim is to provide what can be found in a typical South African shop, all the necessary products on one website.

Delivery /Collection

We have worked very hard to arrange an efficient, punctual and reliable delivery service of our products for you. You can expect your purchase to be delivered to your desired location within 2 days of placing your order with us. Our deliveries run 7 days a week between the following hours.

Morning     – 09:00 to 13:00
Afternoon  – 14:00 to 18:00
Evening     – 19:00 to 22:00

Hong Kong Island                  – HK$70      (HK$700 & above, free)

Kowloon                                 – HK$100    (HK$1000 & above, free)

New Territories                      – HK$130    (HK$1300 & above, free)

Kindly choose a delivery time that would suit you when finalizing your purchase. We require a signature upon delivery of your products to your home. If you anticipate that you will not be at home around the time of your delivery please state this in our ‘notes’ section so our delivery man can leave your purchase with your doorman or a friendly neighbour. We prioritize your delivery and consider your delivery appointment binding. Unfortunately we would need to recharge for any deliveries that would need redelivering. Our delivery man will phone prior to making the delivery to make sure that the delivery can be made. If our delivery man does not get hold of anyone, the delivery will be delayed and the customer will be liable for the charge of the re-delivery.

  • Delivery service will be suspended when typhoon signal No.8 or above or a black rain warning is hoisted. In this event customers will be contacted to re-schedule delivery time.

  • All Items are carefully checked and packed before delivery. Customers are requested to examine goods immediately upon delivery. Claims, if any, must be logged at the time of delivery; otherwise we shall have the discretion to refuse your claim after delivery.

  • Please take into account where there is no access to a lift, and deliveries are above the 2nd floor, our delivery man will call the customer to collect the goods on the ground floor.

  • Please note that all fresh meat deliveries will be done on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings with the rest of your order!
